Nephew #2 holding nephew #4, born about a month ago. Because I live in the same city as my sister, Samuel was the first nephew I got to see on the day he was born. It turns out 5 hour old babies are the opposite of cute,* but he grew cute fast. He was born in the same hospital as his mom and I, but I don't know if he ever got out of the hospital, as this sign greeted my brother and me as we left the maternity ward.
*Also, while standing outside the baby viewing room, one lady looked at me and then at my brother-in-law and said, "So, you're the...Grandmother?"

But the lady who asked if you are the grandmother is . . . . confused.
Just rereading this post. How could anyone think you are a grandmother???? OK. Wait, I realize that it may be biologically just barely possible. Would that make your brother-in-law the grandfather in this person's assumption? Or, are you his . .. mother-in-law? You can't be HIS mother, obviously. Unless you look at the very least 12-1/2 years older than he.
Am I thinking about this too much?
Another question is, are you parents now expecting all grandsons?
